Hello amazing people!
What a blessing it is to be able to share the words that God leads me to share with you each week! I am so stoked! As part of my introduction however, I must bore you with my first blog by briefly sharing a snip of who I am. After that, we can get into the good stuff!
I have always enjoyed writing. But over time, writing has become therapeutic. Not only do I want to write – but I also need to write. I know the desire to write came from God. Through journaling, blogging, and poetry writing, I have had the opportunity to share Christ with others and the hope that comes with knowing Him.
After the passing of my daughter in 2021, I discovered that there was more to being a Christian then just being a believer saved by grace. It is about having that personal relationship and surrendering completely to His will. I knew there was no one on this earth that could help me with the pain of having to bury my girl. He carried me and still does. Of course, the focus is not meant to reflect the pain or struggle as much as the mercy and grace shown through His healing power and His unconditional love. Which is why no other name would be a better fit for this opportunity than “In His Goodness.”
Isn’t it wonderful that we can find ourselves wrapped and nestled in His goodness even through the ‘ruts’ in life? Everything we seek, lack, and hope for is found in His goodness. Thank you, Lord! I pray the words shared each week will touch your spirit and speak goodness to His glory to all who read them.
After all, He is so very good!
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
